For commuters in particular, it is also a great advantage if the often long distance to work can be saved several times a week. This not only reduces costs for fuel or train tickets, for example, but also creates free time for friends and family. But employees who do not have to travel far to work also enjoy the benefits of hybrid work models. Flexibility is a major advantage, especially when care work is performed alongside work. For example, children can be supervised during work if they are sick or the daycare center is closed.

Challenges of hybrid working
In addition to many advantages, hybrid working also has a number of challenges that need to be addressed individually. Open and clear communication among colleagues is a must for hybrid work models. It can be difficult to maintain close collaboration and communication when employees work remotely and are not in regular communication due to physical separation. Daily updates, open feedback culture and joint offline and online team building activities are therefore essential.
